STEVE 'TooLoose' HOLDEN, (b.1955) is an Artist, Musician, Storyteller - a true Island Renaissance Man.

Whether painting a  Portrait, Caricature, Cartoon, Landscape, Abstract or combination thereof or playing his own style of Rock, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Irish, Calypso, or his Original Music that he refers to as Jabluzo, Holden remains one of the most interesting Artists and Entertainers on the scene today. He considers himself a visual Jazz artist, creative, spontaneous, colorful, humorous and full of life.

His paintings can be seen on walls, inside and out, throughout The Bahamas, like the logo and mural in Jokers Wild Comedy Club @ Atlantis, The Pirates of Nassau Museum, Hammerheads of Harbour Island and Nassau and in the Bahamian Art Collections of Vincent D'Aguilar and Dawn Davies.

He is most popular for capturing "the scene" in paintings like Le Shack, Pick-a-Dilly, Jokers Wild, The Buzz, Green Parrot and Jazz Etc... where scores of faceless caricatures revel in the music being created. The Illustrated cover of the 1997 Bahamas Handbook is his , as well as  3 Album Covers for Andrew Jones and SpiritHouse, an amazing band that he also performs with.

He can still be seen and heard around the Island of New Providence playing as a solo or with The Graham Holden Deal, The Mash Potatoheads, Jazz Etc...,The Rum Dums or as the duo, Rum & Dumber.

He sometimes moonlights as The Singing Chef onboard a large catamaran doing fishing charters out of Cat Island, sailing The Exumas and the Southern Bahamas.

He has also performed the lead role of Norman Paperman in Atlantis on Paradise Island in the musical Don't Stop the Carnival, working with Herman Wouk and Jimmy Buffett.

Steve Holden will soon be releasing The TooLoose Album featuring his local hits; Chicken in the Bag, Audderize (before you Pump), Gone Fishin', Eleuthera and Titles (Opus 41).
